The Branding page now has templates for external DIGITAL pages.

Where? I can't find a link.

I have seen the templates (or at least early versions of them, which I used
to develop my Fortran pages (www.digital.com/fortran). From what I've seen
of pages developed since then, some people are taking quite a bit of
liberty with the templates.

I thought I'd gotten this from the Brand page but you're right I can't find a pointer.
I went back to the standards guide I got from Donna Kiefer and it is really

I promise, it's really at this site. liesl

Yes, it's there. There are still errors and inconsistencies in the
templates, and they don't seem to be used consistently by the "main"
Digital pages themselves. The "pics" page is out of date.

Well, I was planning on writing to Donna anyway, so I guess I have something
more to talk about.

Why does an external Web page (http://www.digital.com/templates/homepage/) have
links to internal systems (e.g. http://art.pa.dec.com/info/flash)?

Lots of pages do that. This way there is one central location to get
your info, and for those who are using an internal server to browse will be
allowed to see the internal stuff. But I hope they mark it some way to say it
is internal. (yes, I haven't visted the site :-)
