Hi, I want to install raid controller kzpsc-xb on alphaserver 4100. the installation is ok. But, I find I can't set the channel speed to 20 MHZ using utility swxcrmgr. I am using RCU 3.3 and six rz29-rw disks. Please give me some advice ! Thanks in advance ! Wilson Lu

You cannot run a FAST10 controller at Ultra SCSI speeds. Bill PS - What is a RZ29-rw? | |||||

Hi, The KZPAC is capable of talking to UltraSCSI disks on the backside of the controller IF you have an UltraSCSI infrastructure. This means you need the Ultra BA356 with 180w power supply and DOC based personality module. The parts are currently not available. The release notes shipped with the KZPAC will document the changes you need to make to set the speed as well as the minimum hardware requirements. Dennis |
