I have two questions that stem from a sale to a Systems Integrator that will be inserting rackmount 4100s into a non-standard enclosure. 1) Can the current 4100's power supplies be powered by a 270v DC source? 2) Is there anywhere in Digital that I can go to get my customer a copy of the "A" and "B" sized drawings for the 4100 RM Drawer? The eventual plan is to move this customer to the new 4100-LP that CSS will be shipping in the Spring. However, due to timing constraints and risk constraints, the customer has purchased two standard 4100 units for inclusion in prototype units. I am aware that the CSS version will be supported at 270v DC. I'm trying to determine if the units they are using for the prototype will run on this power as well. Thanks in advance for the help, Craig

Hi, There are no A or B size drawings of the 4100 drawer. The entire project used CAD databases that were transfered over the Internet to our suppliers. My guess is you want a dimensioned drawing which does not exist and would have to be created. The power supply will not work off 270VDC. The input voltage range is ~90 to 240VAC. Have you verified with the CSS design team that there version of the 4100 will indeed work at 270VDC? Dennis |
