Hi, I am not sure whether I should ask BA36R-SB for AlphaServer 4000 on this conference. I believe many folks on this conference should know the answer. Question 1: I like to know whether mixed RZ29B-VW an DS-RZ40-VA (9.1GB narrow disk) can be installed on BA36R-SB. KZPDA-------VW+VA SCSI disk on BA36R-SB (Pedestal) Question 2: If I separate VW and VA on different disk shelves, deos it require a 8-bit or 16-bit I/O modules for VA and VW on BA36R-SB? I know I/O module applies on BA356. Does it require similar equipment on BA36R. KZPDA-------?+VA on BA36R-SB (Pedestal) where ? is I/O module. or KZPDA-------?+VW on BA36R-SB DN-52FAA-CA 4000 5/300 or DN-52HAA-CA 4000 5/4000 BA30P-AB Pedestal Kit VRC15-WA TLZ09-LK 8GB DAT tape for 4xxx pedestal system RZ29B-VW x2 KZPDA-AA x1 FWSE Controller for 9.1 GB BA36R-SB x1 2nd Disk Shelf BN21K-02 x1 DS-RZ40-VA x3 9.1 GB SCSI disk BN19A-2E x2 Power Cords Thanks Patrick
