I was told that the operating system has been seen to hang/crash when earlier versions of DECevent encountered a V4.0 FRU table entry in a system error log. I haven't personally confirmed this, however. BC | |||||

Hi Bill,
Yes I can respond to this from experience. The "crash" is in fact only
the DECevent process. Not the operating system. Did it many times myself.
