Customer has 4100 running Dunix 4.0A and wants to downgrade to Dunix 3.2G . Will I have to downgrade any firmware to do this ? Any other anticipated problems ? thanks, larry cole Email: [email protected]

You should not have to downgrade your firmware. Console firmware anyway. Can't speak for adapter FW, but I would not expect any problems here either. | |||||

. That is good news. Only adapters are SWXCR raid controllers and PCI/FDDI card. Many thanks, ...larry (PS -this downgrade is to run SYBASE 11, which has been 'qualified' on a 2100 under DUnix 4.0 but has problems on larger systems. Sybase 11 is still based on binaries build under 3.2) |
