Thanks to engeneering for the new rail system what comes with the new rackmount systems. This is a good example of our effort to improve our system quality. The previous method was very poorly desiged and I wander how many fingertips were cut off by sliding out the system. Anyway thanks for the improment Ben Palo Alto CA

Yes its like the tz857 rails or in the old days the ba11 unibus box. On rails with ball-bearings and the nice thing is that the rails are not connected to the 4100. This would be to heavy to lift him in the rails. They have a plate between the rails and than you put your 4100 at this plate and lock it with four scews. Nice Ben | |||||

Today this mounting scheme is only available through CSS. We hope to make it more available. I agree it is nice....but it added $1000 to the price of the system. Dennis |
