Hi
I confirm upgrading to v2.0-3 solves the above problem.
I experienced another problem: after running FW upgrade of ARC and SRM console
I can no longer see the floppy drive when I run ARC.The display is incorrect
NVRAM... and asks if I want default values. If I answer "yes"it updates without
any further indication.
From SRM console "sho config.."allows me to see the floppy drive at the
initializing of the buses. The same if I run the unix boot.
Could this problem be related to ARC fw upgrading?

P.S. before running fw upgrading I cheeked that ARC and ECU were working
correctly.

I look forward to hearing from you
thanks gianni

Check out note 93.8. Perhaps this is what you've run into.. Newer
AlphaBIOS will fix the problem, if indeed this is what you've run
    into.

V3.8 Update CD with V5.24 AlphaBIOS and V3.0-10 SRM console..
