129.0. "DELETE/MOD/BEF=-1:0 for WNT???" by HAUSI2::STAMPFLI (REMEMBER: How you look depends on where you go) Tue May 13 1997 05:37

Hi all.

I'm looking for a tool to cleanup our PCCOMMON on NT (there is a security
policy, which says, no files older than 24hr should be in the public area).

In older days (with PATHWORKS for VMS) we did it with "$ DELETE/MOD/BEF=-1:0",
now I'm looking for a solution with the new NT Server

Thanks in advance

Cheers,

I'm sure there's a tool somewhere to do this... as a workaround (not
terribly elegant, I admit) you can sort the files by modified date/time
in Explorer, then select those which are older than 24 hrs and delete
    them.

Yes, this would work, but I'm looking for something, which I can start with
the scheduler (AT...).

Since it's a corporate security policy, I'm sure, other locations may have
already a solution?

Thanks & Cheers,
