    Re .2, while i did work with the original author to debug this tool -
    it is not perfect.  The author has since left Digital.  There were
    several offers and efforts to carry this on in different organizations. 
    I'm not sure what became of them.
    
    There were several postings/threads on this tool in the notes
    conference CHEFS::MS-EXCHANGE.  You may want to bring this question up
    there.  You may also want to have a chat with Tim Grady, who has been
    charged with the task of figuring out mail a migration strategy for
    OpenVMS.  Tim may know the answers that involve other tools as well.

Is he also responsible for the mail migration strategy for other operating
systems?  For example, Ultrix?
