We are experiencing an intermitent problem. We sometimes get multiple copies
of large mails in [PMDF.QUEUE.MR_LOCAL.nnn]. This causes large queues and
mail delays.
On investigation on the exchange gateway queue, we find the originating mail
has a high retry count.
On the VMS node the file(s) look whole, not a part delivery due to network
problem.
It seems the Exchange gateway doesn't seem to get proper confirmation the VMS
node has received the message so sends it again (multiple times). If we get
the user to resend after deletiing it off the Exchange gateway queue, all goes
normally.
Any tips on what to check would be welcome.
