| The server is running Apache/1.0.5 software, means UNIX; hence the file
portion of the URL is case sensitive. The string "http" or
server address name "www.computertelephony.com" are not case sensitive.

205.3 | not alone.../ how can we sell Dialogic in DMCC-Alpha? | GRIFUN::OLOBARDI | Marco- Tech.OEM Mktg-Italy | Fri Apr 11 1997 09:26 | 15 |
| Too bad that Trenton, Ziatech, Pro-Log and other competitors won the same award.
I've read the article and it mentions as a positive fact the usage of industry
standard Dialogic cards.
Is the driver coming from CSS or from Dialogic?
I mean, it seems that (unless things are changing, as I would really like ) the
only way to get Alpha drivers is from CSS, that bundles tham in the AlphaVoice
Platform offer (which is NOT based on DMCC).
Unless this is only true for Digital UNIX and not with WinNT?
Can someone in the know explain how can we sell DMCC Alpha with Dialogic cards?
Ciao ciao and thanks
Marco

205.5 | The award has merit, play it up | SHRCTR::WADAMS | | Wed Apr 16 1997 15:06 | 17 |
| The significance award is what we do with it. To corporate marketing,
this is an important award. It establishes presence for DMCC in the
computer telephony market, which we did not have before.
Other IPC vendors do have presence, do receive the awards....for just
being there. Seeing ICS receive an award for their 21064a Alpha board...6
months later than we had ours in the market... is a bit embarrassing
to us.
The award should be viewed as a 'vote of confidence' from the telephony
industry watchers that it provides a quality building block for open systems
and platforms that enhances the capabilities of OEMs and systems
integrators in delivering turnkey CT solutions.
The Alpha SBC complements the current CSS AlphaIP and AlphaVoice
offerings with a style of packaging widely accepted and deployed in the
CT market.
