Greetings,
    
    for a negotiation on DMCC, the customer would see positively the
    opportunity to build as much as  possible, a flexible configuration
    based on Alpha or Intel. Their requirements for the max loaded system
    are:
        -- 3 graphic boards for multiscreen
        -- 2 SCSI controllers OR 1 RAID controller (one port)
        -- 2 ethernet cards
        -- 1 multiplexer serial card

Based on my knowledge and discussion with collegues, what follow is a
    possible solution, that I cannot test and verify.

    
Use the kalahari backplane configured in this way:

    The goal is to have the maximun number of options valid for both
    architecture.
    I will appreciate any help in advice me on any mistake or
    forgetfulness. I used DMCC Order Menu and System Option Catalog to get
    information on options. My first concern is if the options listed above
    are supported on the PCI seconary bus.
