| Christophe,
Is the scsi ID of the disk set to '0', if not set it to 0.
Also check to see if it has a spin-up jumper, if so is it on.

| Hi,
The disk is OK,
I have tried with an IDE drive and I get the same result !
I get the blinking cursor on the upper left corner and ... nothing more !
I don't see where I've made a mistake.
Any idea ?
Thanks,
Christophe.

161.4 | How did you get here ? | BBPBV1::WALLACE | john wallace @ bbp. +44 860 675093 | Thu Jan 30 1997 19:26 | 7 |
| What do you mean by "managed to install NT files" ? Was this a standard
NT installation from CD, or some other process ?
regards
john
ps
why would the SCSI ID need to be 0 ?

| Ouf !
I have the solution (or almost the beginning of one), after many tries
I issued a FDISK /MBR and the IDE disk finaly boot.
I'll give a try at the SCSI configuration and I'll tell you.
Cheers,
Christophe.
