The traditional approach with LCDs has been to use custom controllers. More recently, lots of people have LCD displays which you just plug into a standard VGA card (subject to resolution+refresh rate stuff). An industrial computing or system builder trade magazine should have contacts for your area. The contacts will vary depending on whether you want a matched LCD/controller pair (see .0), a display panel with VGA interface to build into another piece of equipment (e.g. Sony do one), or something which is basically a VGA monitor with LCD instead of tube (e.g. Taxan Crystalvision), which you can park on a desk or whatever "as is". I have Taxan Europe's number as +44 1344 484646. I can't remember which piece of Sony does the displays. For slightly different circumstances, Wyse do an LCD Xterminal. Just plug in to power and Ethernet. regards john | |||||
