Let's not dismiss this one so easily...

The replacement board from warranty stock also will not retain its
config settings. That makes my design win at risk (DCSi). I'm moving
this customer to PIP10 asap through an RA#.

It's hard enough to sell this stuff the first time around, but with
double faults, (or two strikes) its more than grim.

    No One Is Dismissing Anything.

    On failure is one failure.
More failures may be a pattern.

One of the failing boards received at SHR.
Initial measurements showed some very wierd voltages coming from
battery. (wierd in that they were low, sometimes, sometimes normal).

Lately, voltage has been OK, all the time.

    Watching it.

    	thanks

Its been on a logging monitor for two weeks now. No misbehaviour to
report, so far, tho some odd readings early on, on battery voltage.

    ps:
Accidentally found that an DOS build on a Rushmore SBC would run on
    a SHARK....

The SBC is on its way back into the logistics pipe.

2) Observations:
	1) Coupla times, more so recently, i saw seriously low voltage from the
on board battery. (1.9v to 0.0v.)

	2) BUT. As near as i could see it never lost any setups.

	3) since i've had it its been up and down, running and not, mostly
	with a logger on it.

3) Indications:
	Weak or defective battery.
(I'd be happier with a firmer answer, but given the future for the
IBus SBC, and the need to get this one back into the logistics
    	chain)
