Q: Are there any problems with VMS corrupting ISA_config related info?
A: NO.
Further inquiry indicated that the time/date info was intermittently
corrupted also, indicating a battery problem, or a bad board.
(only one 'failing' board had been seen.)
In discussion a related tip, more to do with SRM than anything else
came up:
Its generally good to do a formal 'init' after any change,
to render it nonvolatile.
