I have a problem with one of my Primary sites. The site was operating fine
but then it stopped. I have not been able to determin what has changed to stop
it from working.
If I reboot the system everything comes up fine and seems ok for about 6
min. then I get the following errors and SMS and SQL stop. If I bring up the
system with SMS in mannal SQL is fine. But SQL will hang if I start SMS.
The system is running NT3.51-sp4, SQL 6.0-sp1 SMS 1.1- sp1
DB-Library Error - Possible network error. Bad token from SQL Server Data
stream processing out of sync. General network error. Check your
documentation.
DB-Library Error - DBProcess is dead or not enabled
DBLibrary Error - SQL server Connections tinmed out
The timeout message will repeat over and over.
I have tried removing and reinstalling the nwlink software.
I added a registry key to set a startup dependence on the RPC process.
I have tried a site reset. I have added more connections for SQL (30)
Any other ideas / suggestions?
