    the one and only and current existing release we sold to CA? Likewise
    the PC client 3.0, and the "server" 3.0? (all in the same package).
    

From what I understand V3.0 never got released by Digital.  It was planned
for release last year, but ended up being delayed numerous times.  I'm
reasonably sure the V2.0 release is what is out now.  Someone correct me it
I'm wrong.

    From what I understand, the Digital AssetWORKS V3.0 product was never 
    generally (officially) available. So the current release is still V2.0. 
    We have been waiting since almost last June for a new release, V2.1 did 
    not happen and Dec's V3.0 got held up for many reasons. The CA V3.0 (or 
    V3.0a as it says in the Release Notes on their new CD) release is as Jim 
    mentioned further delayed, CA are now doing the manufacturing. 
    
    CA's POLYCENTER AssetWORKS will still be delivered as I understand in
    one CD. The licences are purchased as before as part numbers.

The following are the planned new releases for CY1997 for the POLYCENTER
products DIGITAL sold to Computer Associates.  With one exception, these
products will be available through DIGITAL at the time of their release.  All
of these releases will be manufactured by CA, so there will be packaging
differences, terms & conditions differences, pricing differences, and DIGITAL
part number differences from what is offered today.  As we finalize issues, I
will keep you informed on this notefile.

	- Supported on: OpenVMS VAX V5.5-2, 6.0, 6.1, 6.2, 7.0, 7.1
                        OpenVMS Alpha V6.1-6.2, 7.0, 7.1
        - Status: In Beta now; release planned for March 1997

* POLYCENTER Performance Advisor V3.1
	- Supported on: DIGITAL UNIX V3.0-3.2D, 4.0
        - Status: In Beta now; release planned for March 1997

* POLYCENTER Data Collector V2.3
