I have been mostly readonly in this notesfile, but now I need a
recommendation. Since I am expecting our first child in about a month,
I am now looking for pediatricians in the greater Hudson/Marlboro MA
area. We would like a Christian, but that is not a hard and fast.
So the doc isn't too far away (my OB is in Brookline, MA!) I would
also like him/her to be located in one of the following towns.
Acton, Berlin, Bolton, Hudson, Marlboro, Northboro, Sudbury, Stow
Any good recommendations?
Please reply via mail JPS1::BARNDT or dtn 297-3489 (please leave
voicemail, since I am not usually in my office.)
Thanks!
Ann

A health care worker's opinion is considered authoritative by the state,
when it comes to child welfare investigations, and they are required by law
to report anything that they might deem suspicious. Considering the number
of knocks and bruises that a child gets in the normal course of growing
up (i.e. fall off the high-chair, learn to walk, ride a bicycle, etc.)
you have a natural recipe for a bad situation with health care workers who
you don't know. The remedy:
KNOW YOUR PEDIATRICIAN!
(FWIW, ours is A. Rafael Martinez, M.D., a close Christian friend of ours. He
is affiliated with Concord Hillside Associates in Concord, MA, and Harvard, MA,
and Harvard Community Health Plan.)
