| Whitensville Christian School
Whitensville, Ma.
Our daughter attended there during the year I was working in Shrewsbury.
I feel it was a good school. They really challenged Laura and she needed
the challenge. That was a tramatic year for her and Elaine.
The schools is K-12.

Laura started here the year after we got back to Colorado. She LOVES it
here. Excellent reputation and teaching history.
K-12... It is expensive, but then what is the cost of a lousy education
and police/guards in public schools.

Laura went here the first year after our return from Ma. She has many friends
here though I feel this school is more liberal than where she currently
attends. I know several of the kids still going here and they have tended
to get in more trouble, on the average, than CSCS kids.
Still a good school though. There was no room at CSCS when we moved back
which was where Laura really wanted to go.
I think is is only 7-12.

More about Whitinsville Christian School...
The school is associated with the Christian Reformed Church. They are
in the midst of changing from a Junior High for grades 7 and 8 to a
middle school philosophy incorporating grades 6,7 and 8. Kindergarten
is 2 full days and 1 half day. There are 2 classes per grade in the
elementary.
They have an excellent music program in the school and about 1/5 of
the student body (a little over 500 students total enrollment) are
part of their strings programs. They train students using the suzuki
method starting in the earliest grades.
They have both an elementary and secondary art teacher which shows
their committment to the arts. The also have organized sports teams
for both boys and girls and compete in basketball, track, and I believe
baseball.
Tuition runs from approximately 2500 for kindergarten and 3500 for
1-5th grade, and high school is somewhere around 4300. That is for one
child.
If you want further information, you can contact me at cam::lindsey.
My daughter just completed 1st grade there and I am pleased with the
school.
