Very soon President Bill Clinton will be receiving the "Ban
on Partial Birth Abortion Act" which he has already promised
to veto. I think that Mr Clintion needs to be made aware of what
the people of this country think about his promise to veto.
As a Christian God is leading me to respond to Mr Clinton by
sending the letter below asking him not to veto this act.
=============================================================
PRESIDENT BILL CLINTON January 16, 1996
THE WHITE HOUSE
1600 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE, N.W.
WASHINGTON, DC 20500
Dear President Clinton:
In 1789, President George Washington wrote:
"The propitious smile of Heaven can never be expected on
a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and right
which Heaven itself has ordained."
In light of the strong faith in God our forefathers had,
we ask You, President Clinton, NOT TO VETO the "Ban on Partial
Abortion Act."
It is a shame that we seem to sometimes regard animal life
over human life we take more concern over the clubing of baby seals
than the lives of human beings. It amazes me that when you think
about how barbaric this procedure is that anyone could even
consider allowing this to continue. If this were being done to
monkeys in some lab there would be a major outcry to cease this
horrible procedure. Mr Clinton, I hope that you go in prayer
before God to seek His guidance instead of man's guidance. It is
God's wrath that you should fear not that of a few voters.
Please do not sign the death warrants of our unborn babies
in America.
Keeping you in our prayer,
Sincerely,
Robert A. Goodson
