    Hi,
    
       Did anyone see that tv news interview(i think it was cnn)a couple of
    weeks back with a Rabii and 2 christian Pastors(1 was i think, the
    controversal Robert Shueller)?  it was concerning the power of prayer
    and its powerful healing effects. im glad to see the liberal media is
    finally catching on a little bit, i hope it spreads.  ;-)

Does prayer have power? 

I think not.   It's the God we pray to that has the 
power.

I'm reminded of this, because there's a scientific study
being done on the healing power of prayer.  Seems that
a group of people is being asked to pray for one group 
of sick people, and another group is not being prayed 
for.  This is a secular study, with no guarantee that the 
"prayers" are Christians and not people generating 
"good thoughts" or something.

This study is being done because of research earlier that
showed that people who had been prayed for (in this study
it was prayer to the Christian God) showed less pain and
suffering, and some healing.  The results were significant.
