I know there is a topic for prayer, however, I am hoping for an immediate response. Perhaps I should have entered this sooner. I only thought of it this morning. I think this is a better place for my request. Please pray for my country Canada. This day Quebec votes for a mandate to stay or separate from confederation. Quebec has been part of Canada for 128 years. Regardless of the outcome please pray for healing. Whatever the results, there's going to be a lot of hurt people. I pray Father at this time for my country Canada, let there be unity from sea to shining sea. May your love prevail in our hearts through your Son Jesus. Let every head bow and every knee bend to you Jesus, our Lord and Saviour. Steve D.

"Everyone must subbmit himself tothe governing authorities, for there is no authority except which God has established...." Romans 13:1 Father, as this great nation of Canada votes today over this division in spirit, we ask that You would overrule in all decisions; that You would be peace in people's hearts and minds as they go to the polls. That the result might be from You a balm to those of both persuasions. Minister to those who are discontented, that they may find their peace in You, and in You alone. In Jesus' name | |||||

Thanks for the written and unwritten prayers. I also thank God for this Digital and this Notes file. The vote was a nail bitter(sp?). 50.4% NO and 49.6% Yes. Over 90% turnout at the poles. The difference was approx. 50,000 votes out of 4,000,000. Please continue to pray for our leaders. And for reconcilation. Steve D. |
