Thank you for your inquiry concerning The LifeGate Internet Bible College.

The LifeGate Internet Bible College is a project of the Scripture Study
Fellowship, a non-profit trans-denominational religious organization formed
to encourage the serious study of the Holy Scriptures.

The LifeGate Internet Bible College offers three degree programs leading to
a Bachelor of Sacred Scriptures (BSS); a Master of Sacred Scriptures (MSS)
and a Doctor of Sacred Scriptures (DSS).

There is never a cost to take a course.

All course work is offered and may be done over the Internet. There is no
residency required.

Credit for prior learning based on career experience and Bible study may be
granted upon request.

The textbook - and only textbook- for all course work is the Holy Bible.

Degree Requirements:
Bachelor of Sacred Scriptures (BSS): successful completion of the
BSS course of Instruction. (180 Credits)
Master of Sacred Scriptures (MSS): successful completion of the
MSS course of Instruction and evidence of a BSS degree or it's equivalent.
(80 Credits)
Doctor of Sacred Scriptures (DSS): successful completion of the
DSS course of Instruction and evidence of a MSS degree or it's equivalent.
(Individually designed)

All courses are offered continuously and there is no time limit as to when
they must be completed.  You may take more than one course at a time;
however taking more than three is discouraged.

All course work will be monitored by Dr. Dan R. Newburn, Th.D., President
of LifeGate Bible College.

Dr. Newburn has been a leading minister/journalist and educator in the
state of Nevada for over 20 years. He has been a Methodist and Baptist
minister for over 30 years and recently retired as President of the Clark
County School District Board of Trustees after serving for 8 years. The
Clark County School District is the 10th largest School District in the
United States.
