| Ain't it a shame to work on Sunday...!
I'm working today to perform the month-end close for all our production
reports and do the software changes required to convert to Quantum's
fiscal calendar. I have about 3 hours before the Network is severed
from Digital.
Got my Quantum Badge from Security when I came in this morning. I'd
had my DEC badge for ten years. (I don't even look like my picture
anymore! Then again, I'm not sure I look like the picture on my
Quantum badge!)
I have a lot of mixed feelings about leaving Digital. It's been a
great place to work, but "The times, they are a-changin'" It's not the
same Digital I joined in '84...
One thing for sure, though. God's presence in my life is constant.
You just have to love Somebody who claims: "I am the Lord, I change
not." It's good to have a Rock in my life.
Do drop a line to us Quantumites now and then. I'll send a note to the
Mods with a distribution list which can be posted here. We can keep in
touch in CyberSpace until we reach that Golden Shore, eh?!
