NOT JUST BIBLES
A GUIDE TO CHRISTIAN RESOURCES ON THE INTERNET
============================================================================
v 1.1 March 1, 1994
One of the facts that John and I have discovered in working on NJB is
that much more has been accomplished by bumping our heads together
than had we tried to accomplish the project independently. We know
there is much room for improvement, and that with the help of folks
with an eye toward cooperative effort, and a vision for "what can be
accomplished", our hope is that Not Just Bibles... will be an accur-
ate and comprehensive resource for everyone.

downloading the html document from ICLnet, putting it in the same
directory as your Mosiac program, and running it locally from within
your program.

5. Early Church History Documents WWW Page:
NJB has developed a World Wide Web hypertext page with pointers to
various internet-accessible early Christian documents, including Clem-
ent I of Rome, Pseudo-Barnabas, Diognetus, Hermas, Polycarp, Ignatius,
the Didache, Augustine, etc. This page is available at our home ICLnet
directory, file name: christian-history.html. NJB has also developed
special html hypertext pages to use in conjunction with Augustine's
"Confessions", and his theology, "Enchiridion ad Laurentium", which are
available in the appropriate ICLnet directory, /pub/resources/text/
history/Augustine/...
6. Directory of Christian Organizations:
A domain organization directory, listing initial e-mail contacts (post-
masters) for Christian universities and organizations that have an
Internet connection. Our purpose is to facilitate contact between these
izations. NJB has had extensive communication with these organizations
in order to verify the addresses and determine who initial inquiries
should be addressed to. (Name of file: christian-directory.txt)
7. NJB Updates/ Corrections:
NJB documents are being regularly updated. We welcome your evaluation,
and recommendations. Current corrections and update information are
available by "fingering": [email protected]
8. NJB Reading Room at ICLnet:
We are pleased to announce the opening of the NJB Reading Room, the
seed for a centralized library project augmenting ICLnet's growing FTP
archive of programs and documents. Our focus is conservative and evan-
gelical. The NJB Reading Room, is our project name for the "/pub/re-
sources" directories at ICLnet's FTP archive. It now includes exten-
sive holdings of the Christian Research Institute, including CRITEXT,
Johannine Hours and other Taize Community documents, Focus on the Fam-
ily monthly Newsletter, and The Executable Outline Series, and some
of the documents on early Church history mentioned above. We wish to
thank Rich Poll, Brother Roy, Mark Conty, Mark Copeland, and Martin
Bush for their generosity and industry in making the Reading Room a
possibility. We intend to locate additional files in the archive as
time progresses. May we invite you to browse. We hope that you also
will recommend new resources with an objective of serving the need.
