    Hi,
    
    "With the current peace talks going on between Israel and the Arabs,
    this will definitely be something to watch closely". 
    
    This was our visiting preacher's opening statement for this week's 
    Sunday Service. According to him, the scriptures state that peace
    between the Israelis and the Arabs will spell the beginning of the
    7 years before the Lord's 2nd comming, 3 1/2 years of peace, followed
    by 3 1/2 years of war.
    
    How far the above will come to pass is still in the future but the
    most important thing is how prepared are we as Christians for our
    Lord's 2nd coming.

	Hi Mike, Worth having a pointer topic, but the treaty and end-time events are being discussed in notes 58 and 256. Related issues are in 258 and 229... Unless you particularly want to focus here on : � most important thing is how prepared are we as Christians for our � Lord's 2nd coming. This I can commend as a most worth-while personal study. 	re: .-1 Thanks, Andrew. The preparation phase is a lifetime commitment between the Lord and us on a one-to-one basis. HE will work on us if only we have a submissive heart. Btw, the preacher at the service also touched on the urgency for the Church to refocus our energies on saving souls. This is in line with the Lord's 2nd coming which may occur sooner than we think. re:1 Sorry, I have initially missed out those topics when I did a search on "end times".
