| I passed your note (after extracting, etc.) on to Bob Eggleston, one of
the people who was responsible for this wonderful program. I am sure
he will be able to help you, but he just returned from vacation and his
work is backed up and, therefore, it may take a while.

| Hello Grace,
I did contact Bob before opening a topic, he let me know that the event
was taped and that it would soon be available in the Hudson library.
Thank you for forwarding the message to him! If you find out more
around the event (attendance, set-up, etc.) please let me know - what
a fabulous event to have!! If I was able to attend I wouldn't be
asking so many questions. :)
Blessings to you,
Cynthia
P.S. What a beautiful name you have.

Cynthia,
I was unable to attend, but Bob said they had about 40 people
show up. They also asked for feedback, and most of it was
very positive. Many people were encouraged to see such
an event offered.
If you feel led, you may want to pray for these events.
The value of diversity program is no longer sure if these
events really "fit the bill".

197.4 | COPY OF TAPE | WR1FOR::POLICRITI_GR | | Thu Jul 15 1993 15:31 | 11 |
| .2 Thanks Cynthia.
Say, do you know if it's possible for someone on the West Coast
(like me!!) to get a copy of that tape to view? For obvious reasons, I
never saw the program either. I know about it and that it went well
from Bob. I guess I can ask him too.
Blessings to you!

Karen, What a wonderful thing to pray for - the Lord gave us
diversity! :) The Martin Luther King event here at
the Mill was fantastic, the panel members (made up
of different races) gave strong messages and most started
with a testimony of faith - letting people know where
they were coming from right off. It was powerful!
Native American Forum will be having an awareness event
here at the Mill using the theme dignity & respect.
The Lord placed me in the Native/Indian piece of the human
pie, and given the opportunity I pray I am able to give
testimony.
Sorry for the delay in response - hope to correspond more
with you later.
Have a fine day!
Cynthia
