126.0. "INVITATIONS TO PRAYER & STUDY IN SOUTHERN N.H." by KAHALA::JOHNSON_L (Leslie Ann Johnson) Thu Apr 29 1993 13:53

	Greetings!

For the past few months, a few of us in the southern NH area have been
meeting weekly for a time of prayer. This posting is a notice of what
the prayer meetings are about and an invitation for those of you in
in the area to join with us in the weekly prayer meetings, and those
of you are not able to come or make such a commitment to support us
        in your personal prayers.

The goals we have for the weekly prayer meetings are to fellowship
together, to bring our needs and requests before God, and most
importantly, to spend time praising and worshiping God. It is a time
we set apart to join with our brothers and sisters in worshiping our
	Father.

The meeting is not a gathering of those who have a particular church
affiliation, live in a common locality, or even work for the
same company. And our ultimate purpose in meeting is so that each of
us will be built up, grow in wisdom and discipline, and be able to obey
our Father in the things He has asked us to do. I believe that our
time in prayer will better prepare us to be ambassadors for Christ,
to be salt and light to the world, and to reach our local communities
	with the good news.

The weekly prayer meetings have been scheduled for 5:30 pm every Monday
evening at 30 Spindlewick Drive, Nashua, NH. We usually meet together
until 7:00pm. We have been using a conversational style of prayer.

Please contact me at VAXUUM::THOMAS to be included on the distribution
list, to receive directions, or more information. Or call me at
home (603)891-1167. If you know of anyone else in the southern N.H.
area who may be interested in the weekly prayer meetings, and is
unlikely to read this message, please feel free to tell them about.
        (Non-Digital people included).

As Hebrews 10:19-25, and particularly verse 25 which states, "Let us
not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but
let us encourage one another--and all the more as you see the Day
approaching" motivates us to meet, our ultimate purpose is probably
best expressed in the words of Hebrews 10:36, "You need to persevere
so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he
	has promised."

Brothers, sisters, regardless of how God convicts you to respond to
this notice, I pray that this one message will remain with you,
let us persevere to do the will of God! There is no greater joy!

	In Christ,

	- Philip Thomas

126.1BIBLE STUDYKAHALA::JOHNSON_LLeslie Ann JohnsonThu Apr 29 1993 13:5726
     Greetings,

A slightly different combination of people also meets on Tuesday
evenings to study God's word together, and to continue encouraging
one another in our faith, and giving of our lives to God through
sharing with each other and through prayer.

We are currently studying the book of Zechariah. This is one of
the most Messianically focused books of the minor prophets. We
began this after completing a lengthy study of the person of Jesus
using the gospel of John as our foundation. We will be looking at
the 5th chapter of Zechariah this next Tuesday, May 4th so there
is great opportunity to join with us without having missed too much
     in this particular study series.

This group meets at 326 Baboosic Lake Dr in Merrimack, NH at 7:30 pm
on Tuesday evenings. Once again, both Digital and non-Digital folks
are welcome, as are new believers, long-time believers, or people
who are non-believers but who desire to know more about God and Jesus.
