115.0. "Together For The Kingdom.." by MACNAS::D_KELLY () Thu Apr 22 1993 09:46
Greetings from Ireland in the Name of Jesus. My name is Dermot Kelly
and I work in Digital Galway(for another while) which is in southern
Ireland.I am a member of Galway Christian Fellowship.I would like to
say a few things.
This morning when I logged into my account there was a
mail from Joe Lajeunesse, whom you allready know.I was so encouraged
that someone so far away could have a heart for what is happening
in Ireland. Then I thought maybe there are others individuals or
churches who are praying for Ireland. CONTRARY TO WHAT IMPRESSION
THE MEDIA IS GIVING OF IRELAND OVER THERE,GOD IS DOING A GREAT WORK
IN IRELAND BOTH NORTH AND SOUTH.I have just come back from a conference
where 3000+ Christians gathered together under the banner of "Together
For The Kingdom".These would be christians from different backgrounds,
different denominations and different sides of the political spectrum.
This would not have been dreamed of a few years ago.Praise God.
The second thing I wanted to say was that
my pastor Graeme Wylie and an assitant elder Fergal Mc'hale are going to
the states next week to a conference. The conference is on in a place
called Lancaster,Pa.The conference is been organised by a group of
churches called the Fellowship of Christian Assemblies.I would really
appreciate if would join me in praying for the success of this trip.
I know it is very important to Graeme because he sees it as an
oppurtunity to share the vision for Galway and Ireland(whole).Graeme
is also member of the commitee that organised the
"Together For The Kingdom" conference.Pray that Graeme will make
contact with Pastors who have a genuine burden for Ireland.I am sorry
if I rambled on a bit,but I was so encouraged by Joe,s mail.Continue
to pray for Ireland please. We used to be called the land of saints and
scholars and this was true at the time.
Your Brother in Christ,
Dermot....

| Dermot,
As Christian we are to be concerned about the Gsopel unto the uttermost
parts of the earth, and to me right now that qualifies Ireland. Praise
God for folks like you that are there.
Will add this ministry to my prayer sheet.
In Him,
Nancy
