This note was moved back to its own topic to allow for
planning, ideas, inquiries, and sign-ups for this retreat
that started off with DEC Christian singles and has
expanded to non-DEC & DEC Christian singles, marrieds, divorceds,
kids, and kidults (like me!).
Ann, Pete Sadri was asking about this already.

I will let you know what took place last year and the last three
Retreats...
Friday night most people come and set up tents, campers.
Those who don't like to sleep tents are welcome to sleep
in Jon's house.
Friday is a good time to fellowship and get to meet each other.
There is a snack table people bring healthy snacks for it.
Saturday is a time to enjoy Swiming, Tubing, Skiing and Basketball.
Those who like to I usually take them to the cute gift shops
near Jon's and along Route 302.
Saturday night we went to a Church Supper and everyone enjoyed
it alot and we plan on doing it again if everyone agrees.
Then after eating we go to Jon's house and have a sing along
and Bible lesson.
Then people either chat some and then go to bed as we go to church
Sunday morning. Last year we all went to the same one. Other years
some went to one and others to another. There are many churches in
the area.
Then after church, some people stay and others seem to pack up
and leave early. The ones that were there for lunch we went to a
Resturant down the Road from Jon's.
We will have our first meeting in April. Either at Kimballs or
my house.
Will let you know more as time goes on.

Hi everyone the time is getting closer. The Retreat will still
take place in Harrison Maine.
Before the Retreat those who are interested we could meet at
Kimballs some night. I will be talking to Kay this week and
see when a good time to meet will be.
There will be non-Deccies there as well.
If some of you don't know where it is. We can give you directions
to get there.
I will keep you all posted.

On July 8th Kay Escobar and Jon Pearson and I will be meeting at
Kimballs at 6pm on July 8th. Those who are interested in going to
the Retreat in Maine this would be a good time to come and find
out about it. Jon will bring directions that night.
Let me know if you would like to join us a Kimballs.
The Retreat will be at Jon's summer home in Harrison Maine.
He and Kay can answer any questions you may have.
Also this will be a good time to fellowship before the Retreat.

If you see the lines they have you would see not many
stay away :-)
I live in the town where Kimballs is. I do take other
routes sometime so I don't drive in 8-0, you could always
practice Golf there.

last Thursday night it was Kay, Jon and I who met at Kimballs.
It sounds like 10 non-Deccies are going to the Retreat and
two Deccies so far. If you are interested in coming, let me
