    I would like to receive the photo album.

Does Lisa have it?  It was supposed to come to me at one time, but I saw it
at a party and let her take it.  She may have sent it off to someone else.
We'd better keep it moving.

I move that we make Lisa the person in charge of the photo album and that
to whomever she sends it to, it comes back to her within a week so it can
go to another person.

I further move that we send updated photos to Lisa for an updated album.

    Why not Markem, they are wonderful photos, unfortunately not enough of
    everyone... but certainly a good representation of the personalities
    and wot not (sp) of the group I met.

    I  have the "official" albums in my car (never know, when you will need
    it).  [ooops, Markel, so close but yet so far.]
    
    For photo submission to the albums that I have, please mail them to
    Lisa Lombardo , 29 Orchard Street, Marlboro, MA 01752 with your name
    and names of others, if applicable in the album.
    
    Jeff (re:.1) - I would prefer to use US Mail to transfer the photo 
    albums to you.  Please send me your home address and I will try to do
    this by the weekend.  Please return them promptly to me.  thanks.
    
    Who is this 'Lisa' person that got nominated?  Since I, #24, have them
    in my possession, I am willing to take care of this, but if you all
    really want Lisa to do it, I will yield to your decision on this

    Hoop finals are tonight, my team is not playing, but maybe i'll be able
    to play, if one of the teams only has 4 folks show up.  We added a new
    rule.  You have to have 4 to start.  If a team only has 4 then a DWBL
    player from another team can be asked to be the fifth player (not 4th
    nor 6th only 5th).  Let's put it this way, I'll be there with my
    sneakers on!

    Photo album arrived at my home 3/25/93, in good condition.  I didn't
    see a "third" on the motion to have someone coordinate pictures and
    mailings.  So should I still send it to Lisa when I'm through looking and
    with new pictures or should I send it to #24 or should I send it to
    Santa Clara (you know who you are)?
    
    It is quite nice to place a few faces with names.  The album needs an
    update for sure though.  Alot has changed since the IOSG days (1949?).

    Please read the instructions to noters in 11.0.  Then renounce your
    high privileges (glory?) and take on mortal form and try to follow the
    instructions concerning keywords.  If sufficiently debased, you will
    receive a "no such keyword" error or something like that.  Then read
    the second paragraph of .32 and see if it makes sense.

I use DECwindows Notes; multitasking windows, you know.

I did a show Keywords and REQUEST is there.

I think the instructions in .0 (which I did not write but merely
copied from the previous version) are in error.

I believe you are to add the keyword (but not to the conference).

I'm rusty with Character Cell notes but I'll bet that the command is
something like this:

NOTES> MODIFY NOTE n.n /KEYWORD=REQUEST

I don't see how this will help unless the current care-taker of the
album searched the conference for all notes with the keyword in it.

Suggestions are welcome.  This is not my baliwhick.

Say, am I in the Album?  I can't remember if I've contributed to it.

    I investigated.  The instructions in 11 are not wrong assuming the 
    keywords are present. "REQUEST" is there because Lisa added it.  
    ARRIVED, NEWPICS, and the other one is not present.  
    
    So, if a privileged moderator will CREATE (note command) the keywords we 
    will be in business.

Ok.  Try it now.

There has to be a way of doing this in notes windows, but as I don't use 
them, I don't know it.  Monday I could look it up.  Or try...

Moderator in character cell needs to do:

Notes> CREATE KEYWORD REQUEST
Notes> CREATE KEYWORD NEWPICS
Notes> CREATE KEYWORD ARRIVED
Notes> CREATE KEYWORD SENT

People wishing to use them, then use the commands:

Notes> ADD KEYWORD REQUEST n.r

 - or the appropriate keyword / note number

Note .reply number can be omitted if the reply is the one read at the time 
of issuing the command.

When it's arrived, you can:

Notes> DELETE KEYWORD REQUEST n.r


When I set this up, 7,000 years ago, it was because I use character cell 
notes with a lot of command procedures and automation.  Still do.  If it's 
going to be of much use, you need to be monitoring it.  Probably with a 
tool.  If no-one looks after it, another method needs to be established...

    I have added two pictures to the album.  One is a small portrait of my
    family.  Behind it is a picture of Caroline which captures the physical

    Hey, one of the men who plays trumpet in our church band came over last
    night to see if Matthew had any potential in blowing a horn [something
    to do with getting a sound out of the instrument] and well, a sound
    came out a deafening, foghorn kinda sound.  But Mr. Taylor seemed to
    think he could work with that on Matthew... so, when school's out at
    the end of May, Trumpet lessons are forthcoming... from all you
    SPITVALVE junkies out there.. got any advice!

    present noters in the conference YUKON::CHRISTIAN.

    Will the scanning platform be available for enough time for me to be
    able to receive the album from the US/UK, and scan it?"
    
    His reply was "No probelm" (sic).
    
    So, the Sydney Contingent of the Digital International Christian Notes
    Conference humbly requests the photo-album for the purpose of
    converting the contents into machine displayable format.
    
    If you're in the album, please indicate whether you want me to skip

    One of the gals in Georgia had the photo album.. I can't recall which
    one now, Rebecca or Fran.  It was supposed to be mailed to me... of
    which I have neither received the album or notification of said album
    to be picked up at the post office.
    
    I believe the *old* photo album is lost forever.  Again, I have
    pictures of many of the noters past and present on my bulletin board
    from my own camera or pictures mailed directly to me from a noter.  
    
    I am leary of letting go of my photos and can't afford to make copies,
    sorry.  If anyone wants to fund the copy making, I can get an estimate
    and let you know the cost.
