| Another vote for Goldwave (and wavedit). Never head of Cool32,
what/where is it? Also just got WinDAT, which looks promising but
haven't played with it much yet.

| Sorry, it isnt called Cool32 its called Cool Edit (32 bit) and it is
exactly what it says it is - all the way through to a scripting
feature that lets you process batches of files in the same way (eg Wave
to au conversion etc etc).

| Those are probably the two best programs in that price range.
How do you define 'low price'? If you are talking <$500 instead of
$100, the two strongest contenders in the next tier are Sound Forge
from Sonic Foundry and SAW+32 for IQS (Innovative Quality Software).
Both are available (or wil be shortly) in native Alpha versions as well
as Intel versions.
