Hi

Our customer is running DECsplit 2.1-003. On one of the systems
the system disk got nearly filled up due to the excessive size of
SPLIT$:[CLIENT.LOG]SPLIT$SCHEDULE_CONTROLLER.LOG

This logfile contains hundreds or even tousands of the same
error message:

DECsplit-E-Error updating node UBZH13 to status file
record is already locked

Obviously the scheduler comes into the state of looping or self-
locking.

We found, that this only  happens on systems with a VMS version
below 5.5-2 
(The DECsplit 2.1-003 Release Notes asks for a minimum
VMS version of 5.5-2 but the customer did not read them.)
