Hello,
We are facing the following problem at one of the customer site.
The hardware details of the system
Alpha Station 200 4/100 with
32Mb ram
1 x 1Gb hdd
1 x CD-rom
1 x DE205 Ethernet card.
OpenVMS AXP V7.0
Decservers are connected on both built in ethernet card and DE205
ethernet. customer is using process instrumentation devices
connected on Decserver.
File copy from the devices connected on DE205 ethernet card takes
more time comparted to that of devices connected on built in
ethernet card. The decserers are connected as shown below

TS1 to TS6: Decservers to which process instrumentation devices are
connected.
We have applied ALPLAN01_070 patch without any sucess in improvement.
Any suggestions on this problem.

And the problem is? The DE205 is an ISA card which is much slower than the builtin PCI Ethernet adapter. It is expected that one would see worse performance on the DE205. | |||||
