Customer has an Alphastation 255 that hangs when coming out of screen-saver
mode. When the mouse is moved or key is pressed to exit screen-saver and
resume work, the system hangs and a reboot is required to recover. The
graphics adapter is a PBXGB-AA (Powerstorm 3D30 Open3D, ZLXP2-E), and has been
replaced twice with no improvement. The OS has been upgraded to Digital UNIX
4.0B and the Open3D software has been upgraded to V4.3, both showed no
improvement. Also, the entire system box (except system disk) was replaced
under the MRR warranty replacement program, but the symptom returned. No
crash dump is recorded since the system just hangs. Additionally, the
customer mentioned that when sometimes when coming out of screen-saver mode,
the screen goes from black to the selected screen-saver (e.g. moving bees).
The screen-saver image moves sluggishly momentarily before freezing entirely.
At this point the system is no longer responsive. Any ideas would be
appreciated.

| See the OPEN3D notes file, note 4.43. The new device driver may fix
this for you.
