| Ordinary PC 72-pin "parity" SIMMs work fine in AS255. They have three extra
parity bits that are not needed by the AS255, but the AS255 ignores them.

That's right.

1964.4 | a use for a Jensen.... - SIMMs are the same | CERN::HOBBS | Congrats to the Ignoble Peace Prize winner! (http://www.eecs.harvard.edu/ig_nobel) | Sun May 11 1997 12:06 | 4 |
| If you've got a dead Jensen, the SIMMs in those are also 36/72/70 and
work fine.
The Jensen SIMMs come in sets of 4, so it's a good match for a 250.

1964.5 | Shop at COMPUSA for memory, not IEG | STAR::jacobi.zko.dec.com::jacobi | Paul A. Jacobi - OpenVMS Systems Group | Mon May 12 1997 14:08 | 8 |
| If you can't find any used memory on dial and are forced to order
new, then I suggested obtaining memory SIMMs through your local
computer store. It will probably save your CC a tremedous amount of
money, rather than ordering though IEG ridiculous memory prices!
