We have a customer who ordered for Alphastation 500 with Video conferencing
option.
hile attempting to install the Multimedia services( version 2.2 ) for Digital
Unix
on a Alphastation 500 running Digital UNIX 4.0B we get the following error
messages.
The "subset name"might not be fully supported on Digital UNIX version
following
Digital UNIX 4.0A
Install the "subset name" subset at your own risk.
Customer is asking why we get this message ?
Whether the Multimedia services are not supported or not certified to run on
later versions of UNIX ?
Or is it the end of road for the Multimedia services ?
