A customer wants to install a tlz09 tabletop tape drive
with an alphastation 500. The alpha has the internal wide
scsi controller. The tape has a low density connector.
Can this be done using a external converter cable

Is their an alternalte recommneded method?

Yes, you must use the BN36A-0B adapter. Be careful when selecting the
cable you will need. I would suggest that you select a 1 meter long
cable.

I recommend that you use a KZPAA instead. It's not too much more money, and you won't have to worry about cable lengths, performance loss on the internal drives, etc. --RS | |||||
