| HWRPB = Hardware Restart Parameter Block; set up by SRM console.
According to call logs found using COMET,
you should check two environment variables: os_type and boot_osflags.
These must have values appropriate to the O/S you are trying to boot.
For example, for OpenVMS, try setting os_type to "openvms", and
boot_osflags to "0,0". Are you switching between O/S's, by any chance?

| Let me update this note.
The customer upgraded the firmware using arc console and from now
couldn't install nt anymore. The system run nt3.51 before without
problems.
It turns out you can upgrade firmware using arc, but when using
srm >>> boot -fl 0,A0 dka400
bootfile: When you enter a file or cr the system give you
Halt code =7
Machine check while in PAL mode
warning -HWRPB is invalid
It turns out to be a bad memory simm.
Hope this will be usefull is someone has simular problems.
