    I have same problem my mccode=203 (I/O data par error)
    This during boot only. UNIX or Firmware CD.
    It seems that code 4.2 works fine (from CD 3.2).
    All my updates code 5.0 from CD 3.4 and up gives me this
    error. If booting UNIX it gives me perhaps 50 mc checks,
    but the system is coming up and works fine.
    took all isa and pci boards out no result.
    Will replace motherboard, perhaps I have an older rev.
    Will post results here in a few days.
