1834.0. "AlphaStation200 hangs" by ICELAN::JONES () Mon Feb 03 1997 21:25
I am working with a customer who has 15 AlphaStation 200 4/166 systems
with ZLXp-L1 graphics cards. They are at DU 4.0b, O3D 4.2, and Firmware
Release 3.8. The systems are configured with only 32MB of memory with 128MB swap
area.
The problem is all of the systems lockup 2-3 times a day. The only
applications that the customer is running at the time are either Netscape or
Simscript.
The kern.log file is provided here for reference. I can provide the
crash-data if necessary.
Thanks,
Mike

| This sounds like a software issue. You probably should cross-post it to
Turris::digital_unix.

I'd also post it in Open3D (BGSDEV::OPEN3D). That's where the folks that
know the most about that graphics board tend to be.
