Hi, one of our customers has an AlphaStation 200 4/100 with a LN14NCD (DEClaser 3500) connected to it via a BC19M-10. Now he got a new AlphaStation 255 4/233 and is using the same printer and cable, but it doesn't work. He went to a PC shop and bought an ordinary printer cable and it functioned. Any idea why this happens ? Does the old cable still work in the old config? Perhaps the old printer cable failed while re-cabling. If you really care, use an ohm-meter to check the old cable for continuity on all pins. --RS |
