1439.5AlphaBIOS V5.12 questionKAOFS::M_NAKAGAWAFri Jan 31 1997 22:1712
    One of our customer is having problem installing WindowsNT V3.51
    on an AlphaStation 255 4/233(AlphaBIOS V5.12) + KZPSC-AA(FW V2.36).
    AlphaBIOS will allow him to access floppy drive so he could run
    RCU from there to setup RAID set.
    But if he tries to install NT, then AlphaBIOS would say "NO DRIVE
    AVAILABLE" and quits there.

    Does AlphaBIOS V5.12 support KZPSC-xx RAID set as a system disk?

    Thanks for your help in advance,
    CRDC/Mitz

I believe the answer is yes, the KZPSC RAID set is supported as a system
disk.

Did the firmware detect the RAID set? Also, can you create and format
partitions on the RAID set?

1439.7Not yet supported as of 3/FEB/97KAOFS::M_NAKAGAWAMon Feb 03 1997 14:259
    Got answer offline.

    V5.12/V5.21 AlphaBIOS not yet fully support KZPSC-XX as NT SYS DISK.
    Future release V5.29 will.

    Thanks Anne and Scott for looking into this.
