Just for your information there is a club tourny or larger event
every saturday night from June to July on Quinn.. How about a Friday
night event?? I think we have done that before and it worked fine.
BTW June 29 weekend MASS BASS is having a tourny in Lake Champlain,
Our club night tourny is on Friday July 12-13 on Quinn. MASS BASS has
a tourny on JUly 28 on the Ct. River. Hope this helps!!
Count me in on any of the dates you plan.

| June 29th is starting to look good for alot of folks, thanks for the
update on the Mass Bass schedule Les. I have no problem with starting
Friday night and going to Saturday morning, as a matter of fact I
prefer that!!!! If we started at 7:00pm/8:00pm it shouldn't be a
problem even for the N.H. folks. Lets lock in June 28th/29th.

1595.6 | My 2 cents | HPSTEK::BCRONIN | | Fri May 17 1991 09:45 | 7 |
| I like any of them EXCEPT July 5/6. I think a lot of people plan
vacations and long weekends away that week and it would cut down on the
number of people who could participate. I also feel that the lake is
busy enough on a normal week and there will be a lot more traffic out
there at that time. Any other Fridays are great.

|
1595.43 | Rules | DEMING::TADRY | | Tue Jun 18 1991 12:30 | 55 |
|
THE RULES: as far as we see them now.
First Rule: Keep all the other rules simple. This is for fun not
profit.
Second Rule: Remember First Rule at all times.
We won't punish for dead fish, but all contestants must have some
form of live well. This can be a cooler which you change the water
in as needed, or any other form of "resonable" container. The "intent"
here is to keep as many fish alive as possible, so we can "catch
and release." Dead fish can be taken home for dinner by those wishing
to, remember this lake is poluted.
This is not a "sponsered" event, by DEC or anyother agency. We are
on our own.
It will be an 6 hr. tournement. Starting time 8:00 (PM) and check
in at 2:00 (AM)(AT THE RAMP AND NOT FISHING, OK B.C.?). There will be no
early check-in!!!
Landing nets are allowed and you can use any bait on a rod EXCEPT live
bait. No hand lines and such. Rod and Reel only.
Starting position will be determined by draw and the last draw will be
the "offical" starter. The intent here is give the smaller boats enough
time to clear the area before the next one goes off. Any kind of boat
is allowed, and you are responsible for your own safety and the boats
ability to pass an inspection by a law enforcement agency if they are
present and they usually are on this lake. We won't check for life vests,
etc.. Insurance and such is the fishermans' responsiblity.
First boat on a position has the right of way. If the boat is moving
in a direction you can't jump in front of it, but may go in behind
it. Distance of control is an "estimated" 100 yds in front and 50
yds behind. The idea is to not crowd other boats, like we do all
the time when we fish regularly. Remember that there will be other
non-tourney fisherman out there, so watch who you yell at. If you
want to come in and talk to your friends in other boats, stand off
and ask first. BE POLITE.....
Please check in and enter with myself prior to launching your boat.
The DEC employee should present his/her badge to ensure the one
employee to one guest per boat rule. I'm lousey with names and faces.
Since entry fees, lunker pools and payoffs cannot be discussed here they
will at the ramp, although I will post the point percentages as we get
closer to the date. The lunker pool will be split between large and
smallmouth 50/50. Please give me a call at 225-5691 or send mail to

| Swivel, Thats LBS.OZ, so you caught a total of 1lb 13oz of fish. Look
on top of the form, it said LBS.OZ. That scale isn't mine, it was
loaned to me and no one else but YOU is bitching about it so it must
be you. Maybe you need another vacation or a valium.

| Swiv baby..... 20oz? Hit yourself in the head with that shovel will ya.
2 oz is 2 oz, 20oz is 1lb 4oz. I know its higher math but someday
you'll grasp it.
I've got faith in you,
