| Since I live right up the road from Snow's pond I guess I can
answer your questions.
o For starter's the pond is classified as private, meaning only those
that live on the pond have water rights. Also no boats, motors,
swimming,etc.
o Secondly there was a concern that the pond should of been controlled
by the MDC since it was felt that the water flowed in washusett res,
and as fare as the MDC is concerned, its private property and owned
and controlled by those who can afford a shore lot. The lots are
going right now for around $250K if anyone is interested.
o I also know that it is posted on the main road.
o I also know folks who were excorded of the pond when they
tried to fish it by the Princeton police and were informed that
they were warned but if the trespassed again they would have
to press trespassing charges since the owners are requesting
that this occur.
o I suggest you call the Princeton police before you put a boat
on this pond, bet ya it will save ya alot of time and money.
In the old days when Mr. Inmin owned it, I fished it with his
permission. Only a row boat he owned did he allow on the pond.
no motor's, gas or electric, or any other boats for that matter.
Now I can't even fish it and I live right up the road!
o I also know a sportsman club who use to have thier annual
derby there but were told flat out last year no -way!
How your friends got away with fishing it, very, very lucky I
guess.
Sorry I didn't have any good news but thats how it is now..

| Thanks, Stan. There is one place where it looks like you could put a
canoe in, but I'm no poacher, so I guess I'll pass. I might talk with
the Princeton cops, though.
BTW, there is a restaurant up there called "The Little Chefs" that is
FABULOUS !! Ask for one of Cindy's tables, she'll crack you up ! Good
wine list too.
