	BTW it was just over 18#, and second place had 11#...As far as
the GREY hair.....You wait, at least I have hair to turn grey...I think
your going to be beyond that in a few............

	Back to fishing, we caught all of our fish (except 1) in 25-35 ft
of water....We found a hole and they were stacked up on the edges of it.
Bait was the goood ole green weenie, thats not the first time that bait
has produced for us, its a great fall weather bait.

	I'll tell you one thing, the thrill of winning that tourney will
last all winter long, both in the mind and at BPS or NBS for added goodies
to compete with you guys next year.....

	Total of 62 boats, $1200 for 1st and lunker was worth $620, the guys
that came in second had the lunker, they actually made more than we did, but
not the GLORY.....It was my first experience in fishing a MassBass tourney,
but I had a great partner (Joe Ayres) he knows Webster like the back of his
hand.

Nice Job Big Bird..  i only wished I could have made this one.  The fish in
Webster have been down in these deep hole since aAug.  They have not
really started to be in the fall partens.

I would like to welcome you to the ranks of the big boys now.
If you think  that was a good payoff fish the spring Ranger Open on webster.
There will be about 100 baots.  This past spring it payed $2098 for second
(which I got) and $2500 for first with a $1000 lunker.  

Hay legend don't show up in your canoe they will not let you fish..

Hay bigbird are you going to fish the entire trail next year?
Oh and for all you amateur (not you bigbird you lost that status)
there will be a PRO-AM in mass next year.  $100/pro $20/am

This will be a great chance for you folks to fish in a State tournament
not a dec party!

I have been big birds friend for a while and he puts in the time and deserves
to win..

as for the monies I was just to give an example of what is out there..
Many  if not ALL of the noters fisher persons could win a state event with
the big bucks..  And the PRO/AM is a good chance to fish a big tournament.

Or are you bent out of shape because I called you dec tournament a party?

	Thanks !!! It was luck that we found the the right holes, and boy
were they ever stacked up in it....Thats the first time that I have found
them that way...... You say welcome to the ranks of the big boys, well I
appreciate the award and money, etc....But, while I like to fish tourneys
with my partner, most of my fishing is for fun, so I guess that I'm still 
one of the little guys going out for a good time and to LEARN as much as I 
can about fishing in general. As of right now, my partner and I are not sure 
if we will fish Massbass or go NABA next summer... I know its a big step, 
but all we have to do is place in 1 or 2 tourneys and it will pay off. One 
of our club members won at Squam (Ranger boat + $$$) last month and he fish's 
NABA all the time.

See You at Webster in the spring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. To all the folks in this file, I fully intend to fish all the DEC events
next year, provided the creek doesn't rise and flood us out.....All of you
have made those tourneys fun and serious at the same time, sure we would
all like to win or catch a couple of fish.(even you legend) But what I get 
the most out of is the companionship from all of you, we laugh, we joke (legend)
and we bust, but it is all in good natured FUN. Please don't let that stop.
Just look at the file on RayJ, that will tell you what WE mean to each other.

         At times i think we can be a little "thin skinned" by a comment
    or two. WHY !!!!  no one here is out to get anyone "i hope". Were all
    in this together....to fish & "have fun" doing it, hopefully together.
    
         Light'n up on Bob ! Insted of assuming why he hasn't fished with
     us at our tourneys, ask. Building a new home and fishing in his club
     TAKES TIME.
