1468.0. "leadhead imformation" by CSMET2::MCNAMARA (SKIP) Thu Aug 02 1990 14:47
I have a little imformation on fishing with a leadhead.
I use leadheads once in awhile when fishing the cape cod
canal for stippers and blues.
They are a little tricky to fish with in the canal because
of the rocky bottom. well here goes,The idea is to cast a 3-4oz.
leadhead out as far as you can let it sink as close to the bottom
as you can with out getting hung up on the rocks.The idea is to
bounce the leadhead over the rocks while reeling in.It is in some
way to resemble a crab out for a walk. Hope this help you out in
some way.
P.S plan on losing 1 every other cast untill you get the feeling
of the bottom.
good fishing. skip
