Anyone know anything about Throndike pond in Jaffery? I understand it is excellent for smallmouth but the Legend has yet to catch one in three attempts. Are there smallmouths in there? Do they stock it? Where are the better places to go once your on the pond? Legend

Legend, I tried it once last year and duplicated your results. I didn't see a whole lot of good structure and weeds. If you want some good ponds in the area, try Grassy, Skatutake and Hubard. keith | |||||

I thought Thorndike had great structure for smallmouth. I was told it was great for smallmouth. As a mtter of fact, I saw another canoe there and he caught a beautiful 3 lb smallie! I've fished grassy pond...with Great results! Thanks, Mr. Dilsworth. Legend |
